I wanted to make something that was specific for my sister and something that represented her. I asked her to write all of her favorite quotes and pictures she liked on a Google Document so that I could see them and use them for this project. Once I got the quotes and pictures I took some of them and created the basics of how I wanted the covers to look in Google Presentations.

When I was happy with how they looked in Illustrator, I went to the engraver, checked my settings, and moved the design to where the mat board was. Then I printed out the covers.
When they were printed out, I started to cut out the paper that would fill the note book. Then I went and punched holes through the covers and the paper so I could bind it. To bind it I threaded the spiral section through the holes and cut off the extra.

I wanted to put something on the water bottle that I would love for a while. I have loved books for a few years now and they are always a way to get away from the real world. Book are my way of relaxing when school and life gets crazy, so to me "They are not only books." I started the concept in Google Presentations.
Once I was happy with it in Illustrator, I went to go print it on to a water bottle. I had to put the rotational jig into the engraver and change the settings so that the engraver would engrave into the water bottle correctly. I had to change the material to anodized aluminum and change the diameter. I had to go to manual control and choose black and change the power to 100% and the speed to 75%.
When the engrave was done I took out my water bottle and now I just need to wash it so that I can use it.

I have wanted a stand for my ukulele for a while, but I never wanted to pay for the ones that were on that I would find on the internet. There are different sized ukuleles so I was afraid that they wouldn't fit my ukulele cause it is the smallest size. I thought this could be a good chance to make a stand that would fit my ukulele. I went on to Thingiverse and found a guitar stand that was 2D pieces that would come together to make a 3D stand.
When the stand was done in Illustrator, I took the file to the engraver, checked my settings, and moved it to where it was on the mate board. I printed it twice so that the stand would be more stable and stronger.

Now when the pieces are put together they hold my ukulele so that it is not just laying around my room.
